D.o.d aka ducklin of deaf
D.o.d was born out of an acrylic pen, an english leather jacket and the urge to steal a Mercedes-Benz star.
The rebellious teenage heart signed the new accessoire with a cool nickname, yet after the deed was done, death was written in really bad English;

I am an artist with a tendency for narrative storytelling and getting lost in philosophical thoughts.
Born and raised in Switzerland, Baselland, with an affection for traveling and astisanry, discovery, human connection and visual storytelling.
Let my art tell the rest of the story.
My roots reach from the depths of art school Basel (SfG- Basel), into the apprenticeship of a carpenter and broke through the grounds of the Comix-Shop Basel.
Now leaving the life as a comicbookshelf-elf and from 2025 on, freshly located within the land of the rising sun - Japan.
Currently drawing and telling stories about my adventures in Japan, giving workshops and working as a carpenter, practicing my crafting skills overseas.
